Child Safety

Child Safety is a priority at Breakers Netball Club.

We believe that all children have the right to feel safe and be protected from harm.

Breakers Netball Club adheres to government and legislation requirements with specific focus on the following safeguards ;

• Mandatory blue cards for all Coaches, Team Managers, Volunteers and Committee members
• Reference checking for all Coaches, Team Managers, Volunteers and Committee members
• Mandatory Online Child Safety Training via Netball Australia for all Coaches, Team Managers, Volunteers and Committee members

If you are aware of a Child Safety matter within our club, you should at all times communicate by private email with the Breakers Netball Club committee.

Incidents of Child Safety will result in investigation, mediation and potential suspension or cancellation of membership.  Incidents will be treated seriously and managed by the executive committee.
